Creamy Pumpkin Soup


An easy-to-make soup that can be customized to suit your preferences. You can use your favorite vegetables and seasonings. It's perfect for warming up on chilly autumn and winter days, or enjoy it cold to beat the summer heat.

Ingredients:

- 1 small pumpkin
- 1 potato
- 1/2 carrot
- 1/2 onion
- Few cloves of garlic
- Turmeric, to taste
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- 50ml heavy cream

Instructions:

1. Peel and chop the pumpkin, potato, carrot, onion, and garlic cloves into evenly sized pieces.
2. Place the chopped vegetables in a large pot and cover them with water.
3. Bring the water to a boil over medium-high heat.
4. Reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer until the vegetables are soft and tender, typically around 20-25 minutes.
5. Once the vegetables are cooked, add turmeric, salt, and pepper to taste. Adjust the seasoning according to your preference.
6. Pour in the heavy cream and stir to combine.
7. Using an immersion blender or transferring the soup to a blender in batches, blend the soup until smooth and creamy. 
8. If the soup is too thick, you can add additional water or broth to reach your desired consistency.
9. Ladle the creamy pumpkin soup into bowls and serve hot. Garnish with a drizzle of cream, a sprinkle of freshly ground black pepper, or a few fresh herb leaves if desired.
